About this hotel

Bayu Lestari Island Resort is a privately owned beachfront resort located in Pulau Besar, just about 30 minutes off Mersing. Bayu Lestari is a family-owned resort managed by Ibu Rose and her five children. Ibu Rose dreamt with a place where people could forget about their worries and work-life while enjoy nature and experience a truly Malaysian homestay. She thought Pulau Besar would be the ideal place to start building her dream.

Located within the protected Sultan Iskandar Marine Park in Mersing, Pulau Besar is an idyllic island where one can find crystal clear water and white sand beaches. Started operation in early 2018, the resort pride itself in offering 15 private villas to its guests ensuring comfort and privacy. At its maximum capacity, the resort could accommodate up to 110 guests at one time. The only way in to the island is via private boat arranged by the resort.
